So i love rock raider i have it on my computer its vista works perfect. I just installed it on my laptop and the mission pictures are gone and the in game top right hand menu is gone. does anyone know whats wrong? and i have reintalled it and the d3drm.dll.

Did you mod it at all? What OS is ur laptop (operating system, like vista, leopard OSX, XP, etc) |

Ah, this has happened to me before when modding the .cfg files. However, you say this is a fresh install... can you give us some more computer specs, like is it 32-bit or 64-bit Vista, what kind of video card it has, etc.? In the meantime, you might want to update your video card's drivers. That worked for me for some other games, but it made some worse as well. |

where did u put the dll file? in the rock raiders folder or the windows system folder? |

dont use windows\system32, just windows\system. dont put it in the Lrr program file either. Also, go to the two executables in the program files folder, right click them, and go to compatibility, and make them run in compatibility mode for windows 2000. That way u can view the cutscenes and the cinematics. |

windows compatibility is a phail. Buy hey, whatever works. Actually, you can put it in \System or the RR folder, it really shouldn't matter. Note, if you stick it in system, windows may be stupid and not realize its there. Which means you have to register it. |
