Venus...
Wow. It was hot, even in the space suit. However, we made some amazing finds. There were relatively large amounts of rare minerals simply lying around there. I picked myself up about 100 grams of platinum.The best thing is, I can sell what is left for me (10 grams) for myself! And I'll get $374 only for that! Talk about a well paid job =)

FINNUSHED!
Well, now that we've finished, there's not much to do. However, I've applied for the next mission, which will take me straight back from Mars over to Venus. We're there for exploration, as Venus is completely uninhabitable. We'll have to have very well heat-proofed space-suits and a specially plated spaceship, but we're looking to see if there are any precious minerals we can dig out. The best thing is, we get to keep 10% of what we find or dig up! So I'm going there if I get in and will then be able to sell the minerals that remain for me to make $$$ >:)

Oh dear...
We had a problem with our internet connection over here on Mars... I'm blogging again now
The dome's finished, and the various crops have been sown. We're also rolling out the grass. It's starting to look nice now.
A couple of days ago we went on the expedition. Not much to see. I collected a few rock samples for the lab, including for some spares for me to take home and give to friends.

Phew...
I'm back on my feet now and helping with the houses, which are already nearly done. The place will almost be fully inhabitable tomorrow, apart from the fact that we're still using the temporary oxygen supply. We'll get some farmers in soon, along with a new set of oxygen cells. The ship's left for Earth to pick up those supplies (and more water). It will be back in 3 days. Until then we'll finish the houses (and the games room YAY!) and we can do whatever we want.

ZOMG.
It was the freakiest thing that has happened to me for a long time. A weird monster jumped at me from behind! I got a bad bump on the head and I'm now in the improvised hospital area. The monster escaped, but as a safety precaution all Rock Raiders are carrying laser beams with them now. Wow.. It's the first time i get to have one.

OK. Now the tiles have been shipped in and we've nearly finished putting them down. After that, the next step will be building the "houses", which are basically huts made o---

Getting closer,,,
Now the dome is complete and the foundations are laid down. The supply ship is on the way here, with 50 more people and 500 sqm of tiles. We're laying down the tiles in the residential area, around the houses. As our tiles are rather limited, we'll only use them for the walkways, and plant grass in non-walkway areas.
We'll also have a huge agricultural area where different consumable plants will be grown, mainly wheat. That way we'll be able to supply ourselves with food.
The supply ship arrives in a couple of hours.

Rushing ahead!!
Well, the dome's nearly finished now and the supplies ship has arrived at Earth! We'll probably have finished the dome tomorrow, which gives us a couple of hours' break, until the ship arrives. Then we'll have a good night's sleep and start laying the tiles down tomorrow.
